The Trainman is now in Grafton

After recent negotiations, We are now selling selected stock from Kenny’s Free Choice in Grafton. Modellers further up the coast from Coffs Harbour will be able to purchase and pre-order model trains and accessories, drop off and pick up repairs, look at the latest releases and more.

“We are very pleased to have Bob and Lynn represent our products and service the area around Grafton, where there are plenty of railway modellers.”  Paul Baker, The Trainman said. “It will take some stock to build up, and we hope the locals use this new service at a time when model shops are generally closing he said.

Popular items like Hornby, Peco and selected Australian brands like ARM will be stocked, meaning locals can purchase and see what they are buying, without costly postage.

Keeping your trains in running order is always a challenge and they don’t run forever without service. We have access to parts to keep most HO/OO models operational. From a simple wheel clean to a full overhaul the Trainman can keep you treasured rolling stock and locomotives running.

We do buy collections of models that are no longer needed or even Estate collections. Cash paid for good collections. ARM 38 class

DCC is easy!

Thinking of updating from analogue DC (dinosaur control) to the latest  Digital control (DCC)? It’s easier than you think and gives you total control of each loco individually, enhancing model operations and including live sound.

With DCC, each loco uses a DCC chip that needs to be fitted and we offer this service and can supply the leading brands of DCC chips, speakers and LED’s headlights.
